The issue is present in the plugin's 'insert_data' AJAX endpoint and is caused by insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. An unauthenticated attacker can submit crafted input containing arbitrary JavaScript or other browser-executable script content, which is then stored by the application and later rendered in a page viewed by other users, resulting in script execution in their browsers.
