CVE-2025-14500 is a critical unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability in IceWarp, affecting IceWarp version 14 and multiple supported product generations. The flaw exists in the application's handling of the HTTP X-File-Operation header. Due to insufficient validation and neutralization of attacker-controlled input before it is passed to a system call, a remote attacker can trigger OS command injection by sending a crafted HTTP request. Public reporting states the issue affects both Windows and Linux deployments, allowing arbitrary command execution in the security context of SYSTEM on Windows or root on Linux. The issue was tracked by ZDI as ZDI-CAN-27394 / ZDI-25-1072.
