CVE-2025-15617 is an exposure vulnerability affecting Wazuh version 4.12.0 in which GitHub Actions workflow artifacts contain a recoverable GITHUB_TOKEN. Because the token is exposed through uploaded workflow artifacts, an attacker able to access those artifacts can extract the token and use it during its validity window. The issue is rooted in sensitive credential material being included in build or workflow artifacts, rather than being adequately excluded or protected. The exposed token can then be used to interact with the associated GitHub repository or workflow context.
