CVE-2025-1868 is an information disclosure issue in Advanced IP Scanner and Advanced Port Scanner where initiating a network scan can cause the applications to inadvertently transmit the NTLM hash of the user performing the scan. The exposure can occur over both HTTP/HTTPS and SMB, and can be exploited by an attacker who can intercept traffic to a legitimate server (e.g., via on-path interception) or by standing up a malicious/fake server to elicit the authentication material in local or remote scenarios.
