CVE-2025-20124 is a critical insecure deserialization vulnerability in an API of Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Cisco Identity Services Engine Passive Identity Connector (ISE-PIC). The flaw is caused by unsafe deserialization of user-supplied Java byte streams. An authenticated remote attacker can exploit the issue by sending a crafted serialized Java object to the affected API. Successful exploitation allows arbitrary command execution on the affected device in the context of the root user, resulting in both remote code execution and privilege escalation from a lower-privileged administrative role.

Repository contains a small Python proof-of-concept exploit for a claimed Cisco ISE 3.0 Java deserialization RCE (CVE-2025-20124). Structure: - README.md: Portuguese description of the vulnerability and usage. States the attack is an authenticated HTTP POST to /api/v1/admin/deserializer with a Base64-encoded serialized Java object, leveraging gadget chains to execute commands. - exploit.py: Standalone Python3 script using requests/urllib3. It accepts --url, --session, and --cmd, builds a Base64 payload, and POSTs JSON {"object": "<base64>"} to <base_url>/api/v1/admin/deserializer with Cookie ISESSIONID=<token>. Capabilities: - Network-based authenticated exploitation attempt against a Cisco ISE web API endpoint. - Sends a crafted (but in this code, placeholder) Java-serialization payload intended to execute an arbitrary command supplied via --cmd. - Basic response handling for 200/401/403/404 and prints partial response body. Notable limitations: - The serialized object is not a real gadget chain; it is represented as a placeholder string ('...ExecGadget...'). As written, it demonstrates the request structure and delivery mechanism more than a complete working deserialization gadget payload.
This repository contains a Python exploit tool ('Exploit.py') targeting two Cisco ISE vulnerabilities: CVE-2025-20124 (Java deserialization RCE) and CVE-2025-20125 (authorization bypass for configuration/reboot). The tool requires a valid ISE administrator session token (even read-only) and interacts with the Cisco ISE API endpoints over HTTPS. For CVE-2025-20124, it crafts a base64-encoded Java serialized payload to execute arbitrary commands via the '/api/v1/admin/deserializer' endpoint. For CVE-2025-20125, it sends a POST request to '/api/v1/admin/reload' to trigger configuration reloads or changes without proper authorization. The exploit is a proof-of-concept and does not include a real Java gadget chain, but demonstrates the attack flow. The repository consists of the main exploit script and a README with usage instructions and notes about required authentication and references to Cisco advisories.
