CVE-2025-21929 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel Intel Integrated Sensor Hub HID driver. During removal of the intel_ishtp_hid driver, hid_ishtp_cl_remove() previously called hid_ishtp_cl_deinit() before ishtp_hid_remove(). This teardown ordering could disconnect or free ISHTP-layer resources while HID-device removal still performed HID power-state and feature-report operations that accessed those resources. The fix reverses the order: ishtp_hid_remove() executes before hid_ishtp_cl_deinit(), ensuring HID-level removal and power-off complete before ISHTP disconnection.
