CVE-2025-24063 is a heap-based buffer overflow in the Windows Kernel/Kernel Streaming Service Driver. Insufficient validation and bounds checking of user-supplied IOCTL input to kernel-mode drivers can cause a crafted request to exceed an allocated heap buffer, corrupt adjacent kernel memory, and potentially overwrite critical kernel structures or function pointers. The flaw allows a locally authorized attacker to elevate privileges.
