CVE-2025-2807 affects the Motors – Car Dealership & Classified Listings Plugin for WordPress. In all versions up to and including 1.4.64, the plugin's mvl_setup_wizard_install_plugin() function lacks a required capability check. As a result, authenticated users with Subscriber-level access or higher can invoke functionality intended for more privileged users and cause arbitrary WordPress plugins to be installed and activated on the target site. Because WordPress plugins execute server-side PHP code within the application context, this flaw can be leveraged to introduce attacker-chosen code through a malicious plugin, creating a path to remote code execution on the affected server.

This repository contains a Python exploit script (CVE-2025-2807.py) targeting a vulnerability (CVE-2025-2807) in the Motors WordPress plugin (versions <= 1.4.64). The vulnerability allows any authenticated user with subscriber privileges or higher to install arbitrary plugins via a missing authorization check in the 'mvl_setup_wizard_install_plugin' AJAX action. The exploit works by logging in as a subscriber, extracting a required nonce from the setup wizard page or related JavaScript, and then sending a crafted POST request to the /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php endpoint to install a plugin of the attacker's choice. The repository includes the main exploit script, a README with detailed usage instructions and vulnerability background, a requirements.txt for dependencies, and a license file. The exploit is operational and demonstrates real-world impact, as it can be used to escalate privileges or compromise the target WordPress site.
