CVE-2025-29557 affects ExaGrid EX10 versions 6.3 through 7.0.1.P08. The vulnerability is an incorrect access control issue in the MailConfiguration API endpoint. Users with operator-level privileges can send an HTTP request to this endpoint and retrieve SMTP configuration credentials, including plaintext passwords. The flaw indicates that the endpoint does not properly restrict access to sensitive mail configuration data based on privilege level, allowing lower-privileged authenticated users to access information that should be limited to more privileged administrative roles.
