CVE-2025-32094 is an HTTP request smuggling vulnerability in Akamai Ghost on the Akamai CDN platform prior to 2025-03-26. The issue occurs when an HTTP/1.x OPTIONS request includes an "Expect: 100-continue" header encoded with obsolete line folding. Under these conditions, one Akamai server on the request path rewrites the folded header before forwarding it, but due to a software defect does not correctly honor the Expect: 100-continue semantics. A separate implementation defect affects forwarding of OPTIONS requests that contain a body. The combination causes two in-path Akamai servers to derive different message boundaries and interpret the same request inconsistently, resulting in erroneous parsing of the body and enabling a second, attacker-controlled request to be smuggled within the original request body.
