CVE-2025-34021 is a server-side request forgery vulnerability affecting multiple Selea Targa IP OCR-ANPR camera models, including iZero, Targa 512, Targa 504, Targa Semplice, Targa 704 TKM, Targa 805, Targa 710 INOX, Targa 750, and Targa 704 ILB. The flaw is caused by insufficient validation of user-controlled input in JSON POST parameters such as ipnotify_address and url. These parameters are consumed by internal application functionality that performs outbound image retrieval and DNS lookup operations. A remote unauthenticated attacker can supply arbitrary destinations in those parameters and cause the device to initiate attacker-directed HTTP requests to internal or external hosts. This can be used to reach otherwise inaccessible network resources and to abuse the camera as a proxy for network interaction. Exploitation evidence was reportedly observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-01-25 UTC.
