CVE-2025-34023 is a path traversal vulnerability in the Karel IP1211 IP Phone web management interface. The issue is present in the /cgi-bin/cgiServer.exx endpoint, which does not properly sanitize or restrict user-supplied input passed via the page parameter. An authenticated remote attacker can supply crafted directory traversal sequences to cause the application to access arbitrary files on the underlying system outside the intended web root or resource scope. Exploitation evidence was observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2025-02-02 UTC.
