CVE-2025-34042 is an authenticated command injection vulnerability in Beward N100 IP Camera firmware version M2.1.6.04C014. The flaw is present in the servetest CGI page, where the ServerName and TimeZone parameters are incorporated into backend system calls without proper input sanitization or neutralization of shell metacharacters. An attacker with access to the device web interface can supply crafted input to these parameters and cause arbitrary operating system commands to be executed. Based on the provided description, successful exploitation yields remote code execution in the context of the underlying system with root privileges.
