CVE-2025-34105 is a stack-based buffer overflow in the built-in web interface of DiskBoss Enterprise versions 7.4.28, 7.5.12, and 8.2.14. The flaw is caused by improper bounds checking when processing the path component of HTTP GET requests. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted overlong URI to the web interface and trigger memory corruption on the stack. Because the vulnerable component runs on Windows and the description indicates execution in the context of SYSTEM, successful exploitation may result in arbitrary code execution with elevated privileges on the affected host.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module (modules/exploits/windows/http/diskboss_get_bof.rb) that exploits a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the web interface of DiskBoss Enterprise versions 7.4.28, 7.5.12, and 8.2.14 (CVE-2025-34105). The exploit targets the built-in web server by sending a specially crafted HTTP GET request with an overly long URI, resulting in code execution with the privileges of the DiskBoss process. The module supports automatic target detection based on the version string in the web interface's response. The payload is user-configurable and typically results in a reverse shell or similar remote access. The exploit is operational and has been tested on Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7 SP1. The only network endpoint directly referenced is the root path ("/") of the DiskBoss web server, which is used for both version detection and exploitation. The code is written in Ruby and is structured as a standard Metasploit exploit module.
