CVE-2025-34115 is an authenticated OS command-injection vulnerability in OP5 Monitor through version 7.1.9. The command_test.php endpoint passes attacker-controlled input from the cmd_str parameter through the command-testing feature, allowing a logged-in user authorized to use that functionality to run arbitrary shell commands as the unprivileged web application user. A separate public disclosure alleges that OP5 Monitor 9.20 remains susceptible through an ineffective or opt-in patch bypass; that alleged bypass was reported as awaiting a distinct CVE identifier.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module (modules/exploits/linux/http/op5_config_exec.rb) targeting a command execution vulnerability in op5 Monitor version 7.1.9 and below (CVE-2025-34115). The exploit abuses the 'Test this command' feature in the configuration page, allowing an authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary system commands as an unprivileged user via the web interface. The module requires valid credentials (default: monitor/monitor) and interacts with the target over HTTPS (default port 443). The main endpoints involved are '/monitor/index.php/auth/login' for authentication and '/monitor/op5/nacoma/command_test.php' for command execution. The exploit uses Metasploit's command stager to deliver a payload, typically resulting in a shell. The code is written in Ruby and is fully integrated into the Metasploit framework.

An authenticated OS command-injection vulnerability in ITRS OP5 Monitor's command-test feature. The purported 7.2.0 fix for CVE-2025-34115 is bypassable because its dangerous-character filtering is enforced only for groups explicitly assigned an opt-in permission, absent from the default admins group, while the actual command execution path lacks the check. An authenticated attacker can submit $(...) command substitution through command_test.php, causing Naemon to invoke /bin/sh -c and execute commands as the monitor service account (uid 299).
An authenticated command-injection vulnerability in OP5 Monitor through version 7.1.9. An authenticated user authorized to access command testing can inject commands through the cmd_str parameter of command_test.php and execute arbitrary shell commands as the unprivileged web-application user.
