CVE-2025-34118 is a path traversal vulnerability in Linknat VOS Manager versions prior to 2.1.9.07, including VOS2009 and early VOS3000 builds. The issue is reachable without authentication through localized web application subpaths such as /eng/, /chs/, and /cht/ associated with requests for resources like js/lang_en_us.js and equivalent language files. An attacker can inject encoded directory traversal sequences, including %c0%ae%c0%ae, into the request path to bypass input validation and traverse outside the intended web root, resulting in arbitrary file read from the underlying server filesystem.
