CVE-2025-38477 is a race condition in the Linux kernel Quick Fair Queueing traffic-control scheduler (net/sched sch_qfq). qfq_change_agg(), which can run during qfq_enqueue(), may modify a qfq_aggregate while concurrent class-management or statistics-dump paths access that aggregate without adequate synchronization. The race can produce a NULL-pointer dereference in qfq_dump_class() or a use-after-free in qfq_delete_class(). The upstream correction moves qfq_destroy_class() into the applicable critical section and protects qfq_dump_class() and qfq_dump_class_stats() with sch_tree_lock.
