CVE-2025-38550 is a lifetime-management flaw in the Linux kernel IPv6 multicast/MLD implementation. In the mld_del_delrec() path, the reference to pmc->idev can be released before ip6_mc_clear_src() completes, despite ip6_mc_clear_src() still using that object. This creates a potential use-after-free condition. The upstream fix moves the reference release until after ip6_mc_clear_src() returns, matching the ordering used by mld_clear_delrec().
