CVE-2025-40677 is a SQL injection vulnerability in Summar Software's Portal del Empleado prior to version 3.98.0. The flaw is present in the /MemberPages/quienesquien.aspx endpoint and can be triggered via a crafted POST request that abuses the ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$filtroNombre parameter. Insufficient neutralization of attacker-controlled input in SQL queries allows an attacker to manipulate backend database operations. According to the available advisory, successful exploitation enables retrieval, creation, modification, and deletion of database contents.
