CVE-2025-43407 is a sandbox escape vulnerability in the Apple Assets component affecting multiple Apple operating systems, including iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, and visionOS. The flaw stems from insufficient entitlement enforcement, allowing an application to obtain capabilities beyond those intended by the platform sandbox model. Apple addressed the issue by improving entitlements. Successful exploitation could allow a malicious application to break out of its sandbox and operate outside its assigned security boundaries.
