CVE-2025-44823 is an access-control and sensitive-information exposure vulnerability in Nagios Log Server affecting versions before 2024R1.3.2. The flaw is in the /nagioslogserver/index.php/api/system/get_users API endpoint, which lacks proper authorization checks. Any authenticated user with a valid API token can issue a GET request to this endpoint and receive a JSON response containing information for all users, including usernames, email addresses, and API keys in cleartext. Because administrator API keys are exposed to lower-privileged authenticated users, the issue enables straightforward privilege escalation and broader compromise of the Nagios Log Server deployment.
