CVE-2025-46731 is a server-side template injection vulnerability in Craft CMS affecting the 4.x branch before 4.14.13 and the 5.x branch before 5.6.16, according to the provided description. The issue arises from Twig template processing and can permit remote code execution when an attacker with administrator access is able to reach the vulnerable functionality. Exploitation additionally requires the Craft CMS configuration setting ALLOW_ADMIN_CHANGES to be enabled. Under those conditions, attacker-controlled input can be interpreted by Twig as template code rather than inert data, leading to SSTI and potential execution of arbitrary code on the server.

If you can’t patch tonight, do this now.
ALLOW_ADMIN_CHANGES to false in production environments so administrative changes cannot be made through the control panel. Also restrict and monitor administrator access, enforce MFA for admin accounts, review for unauthorized template or configuration modifications, and limit the privileges of the underlying web server account to reduce post-exploitation impact.Patch, then assume compromise.
