This repository is a proof-of-concept (PoC) for CVE-2025-47176, targeting Microsoft Outlook on Windows. The main exploit script (PoC.py) uses the Outlook COM interface to inject a mail item containing a malicious sync path (..\..\..\windows\system32\cmd.exe) into the user's inbox. The mail includes a link to a local HTTP server (http://localhost:8080/activate) started by the script. When the link is visited, the script simulates a vulnerable path normalization routine and, if the malicious path is detected, issues a system restart command (shutdown /r /t 5). The repository also includes a crafted Outlook profile file (malicious.prf) that can be imported to test the vulnerability via Outlook's profile import feature. The exploit demonstrates both local and network attack vectors: local via the Outlook COM interface and profile import, and network via the local HTTP trigger. The PoC is intended for research and educational purposes and should only be run in controlled environments, as it will forcibly restart the system upon successful exploitation.
