CVE-2025-4840 is a SQL injection vulnerability in the inprosysmedia-likes-dislikes-post WordPress plugin affecting versions through 1.0.0. The plugin does not properly sanitize and escape a user-controlled parameter before incorporating it into a SQL statement. The vulnerable code path is exposed via an AJAX action that is accessible to unauthenticated users, allowing attacker-supplied input to reach the database query layer without sufficient neutralization. This can enable arbitrary SQL query manipulation against the WordPress backend database.
