CVE-2025-50455 is a SQL injection vulnerability in Alex Tselegidis EasyAppointments through version 1.5.1. The flaw affects the /customers/search endpoint, where user-controlled input supplied via the order_by parameter is passed unsafely to the CodeIgniter Query Builder order_by method without sufficient sanitization or validation. This allows an attacker to manipulate the generated SQL query. Documented exploitation includes time-based SQL injection and database schema enumeration. In environments where the underlying MySQL configuration permits file writes from SQL statements, the vulnerability may be escalated to remote code execution through database-assisted writing of a PHP shell to the server filesystem.
