CVE-2025-52357 is a cross-site scripting vulnerability in the ping diagnostic feature of the FiberHome FD602GW-DX-R410 router running firmware V2.2.14. The issue is caused by improper neutralization of user-controlled input submitted through the ping form field, which does not adequately sanitize special characters before rendering the data in the router's web management interface. An authenticated attacker can supply crafted input containing malicious JavaScript and cause that script to execute in the security context of the router administration web UI.
