CVE-2025-52434 is an improper synchronization race condition in Apache Tomcat when the APR/Native connector is in use. The condition is particularly observable when clients initiate closure of HTTP/2 connections, allowing concurrent use of a shared resource to exhaust resources. Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 through 9.0.106 are affected. End-of-life releases from 8.5.0 through 8.5.100 are also known to be affected; older end-of-life versions may be affected.
