CVE-2025-53640 is an information disclosure vulnerability in Indico, an event management system that uses Flask-Multipass for multi-backend authentication. In Indico versions starting from 2.2 up to, but not including, 3.3.7, an endpoint intended to display details of users referenced in certain fields, such as ACL-related fields, can be misused to enumerate and dump basic user profile information in bulk. The exposed data includes user details such as name, affiliation, and email address. The issue stems from insufficient access restriction on the endpoint, allowing it to be leveraged beyond its intended UI context for bulk retrieval of user information.
