CVE-2025-54381 is an unauthenticated server-side request forgery vulnerability in BentoML's URL-based file-upload processing. Multipart form-data and JSON handlers accept attacker-supplied file URLs and automatically retrieve the referenced resources. In affected releases, URL validation does not adequately prevent targets resolving to loopback, internal-network, cloud-metadata, or other restricted addresses. The multipart path performs minimal validation, while the JSON path's scheme-oriented checks are insufficient to constrain the ultimate network destination. BentoML 1.4.0 through versions before 1.4.19 are affected; version 1.4.19 includes a patch.
