CVE-2025-59180 is a hardcoded credential vulnerability in the alarm system of Ericsson Packet Core Controller (PCC) versions prior to 1.38. The flaw arises from the presence of a built-in credential within the alarm subsystem, creating a fixed authentication secret that is not unique per deployment. An attacker who has access to the PCC cluster and knows the hardcoded credential can authenticate to the affected alarm functionality and read alarm and alert information. The issue is classified as CWE-798.
