CVE-2025-60425 affects Nagios Fusion v2024R1.2 and v2024R2. When two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled, the application does not invalidate already existing session tokens. As a result, a session established before 2FA enablement can remain valid afterward, creating a condition where an attacker who has obtained or controls an existing session token can continue using that session without being forced through the updated authentication flow. This is a session management flaw in which session state is not properly regenerated or invalidated after a security-relevant authentication change.
