CVE-2025-61808 is an unrestricted upload of file with dangerous type vulnerability in Adobe ColdFusion’s ColdFusion Archive (CAR) Package & Deploy functionality. A high-privileged authenticated ColdFusion Administrator user can cause ColdFusion to load a malicious CAR package, including from an attacker-controlled network location due to insufficient path validation. The package can deploy attacker-controlled content, such as a server-side web shell, into the ColdFusion webroot, resulting in arbitrary code execution. Affected releases are ColdFusion 2025 Update 4 and earlier, ColdFusion 2023 Update 16 and earlier, and ColdFusion 2021 Update 22 and earlier.
