CVE-2025-62360 is a SQL injection vulnerability in the open-source WeGIA Web Manager for Institutions affecting versions prior to 3.5.1. The flaw is present in the /html/funcionario/dependente_documento.php endpoint, where the id_dependente parameter is not properly sanitized or constrained before being used in database operations. A remote attacker can supply crafted input to this parameter to execute arbitrary SQL statements against the backend database. Successful exploitation can expose, modify, or delete stored data and otherwise undermine the security of the application’s database-backed functionality. The issue was fixed in WeGIA 3.5.1.

id_dependente parameter. Reduce database account privileges used by the application to the minimum necessary, enable detailed logging and monitoring for suspicious query patterns, and review database and application logs for evidence of exploitation. These measures are temporary and do not replace upgrading to 3.5.1 or later.Patch, then assume compromise.

After patching, assess the database for signs of prior exploitation, verify data integrity, rotate any credentials that may have been exposed through database access, and ensure secure query construction practices are applied consistently across the codebase. No valid public exploits.
