CVE-2025-63080 is a high-severity incorrect authorization vulnerability in firmware for KAON PG5298A and PG5298B routers. In affected versions, an authenticated user can submit crafted JSON-RPC requests to invoke backend operations that are not exposed through the normal administrative GUI. This authorization weakness permits access to privileged functionality beyond the intended permissions of the management interface, including reading system files and executing commands on the device. Affected versions are KAON PG5298A firmware before 3.0.82 and KAON PG5298B firmware before 4.0.82.
