CVE-2025-63296 affects KERUI K259 5MP Wi-Fi / Tuya Smart Security Camera firmware v33.53.87. The firmware's boot/update logic in /usr/sbin/anyka_service.sh scans mounted TF/SD storage during startup and checks for the presence of /mnt/update.nor.sh. If that file exists, the script copies it to /tmp/net.sh and executes it with root privileges. Because the update script is accepted and executed from removable media without any stated authentication, integrity verification, or signature validation, an attacker able to place a crafted update.nor.sh file on a mounted TF/SD card can achieve arbitrary command execution as root during device startup.
