CVE-2025-65074 is a high-severity vulnerability in WaveStore Server, exploitable via the WaveView client. The vulnerability exists in the 'showerr' script, which is intended to allow users to execute a restricted set of predefined commands and scripts on the connected server. Due to improper input validation, a high-privileged attacker can exploit a path traversal flaw in the 'showerr' script to execute arbitrary operating system commands on the server. This vulnerability affects all versions of WaveStore Server prior to 6.44.44.
