CVE-2025-65076 is a path traversal vulnerability in the ilog script of WaveStore Server, exploitable via the WaveView client. The ilog script, which runs with root privileges, fails to properly validate user-supplied input, allowing a high-privileged attacker to specify arbitrary file paths. This enables the attacker to read or delete any file on the server filesystem, bypassing intended access controls. The vulnerability affects all versions prior to 6.44.44.
