CVE-2025-65099 is a code execution vulnerability in Claude Code affecting versions prior to 1.0.39 when run on systems using Yarn 3.0 or later. Under these conditions, Claude Code could be induced to execute code supplied by a project's Yarn plugins before the user accepted the application's startup trust dialog. The flaw effectively allowed project-controlled plugin code to run prior to completion of the intended trust decision, undermining the security boundary implied by the startup prompt. The issue was fixed in Claude Code version 1.0.39.
