CVE-2025-66429 is a directory traversal vulnerability in the Team Manager API in cPanel versions 110 through 132. The issue is caused by insufficient validation of attacker-controlled input used in file path handling, allowing a local user to traverse directories and overwrite an arbitrary file on the system. By targeting sensitive files, the arbitrary file overwrite can be leveraged to escalate privileges to root.

This repository consists of a single PHP file (index.php) that implements an advanced fuzzing engine targeting the cPanel API endpoint /execute/Team/add_team_user over HTTPS (port 2083). The script is designed to test for Local Privilege Escalation (LPE) and evasion vulnerabilities by sending a series of crafted POST requests using various attack vectors, including directory traversal, root directory injection, double URL encoding, null byte poisoning, and malformed JSON payloads. The script authenticates using credentials loaded from a local JSON file and analyzes the API responses heuristically to determine the likelihood of successful exploitation. The code is structured with clear separation between configuration, fuzzing logic, and response analysis, and is intended as a proof-of-concept for security testing of cPanel installations.
