CVE-2025-66628 is an integer-overflow vulnerability in ImageMagick's PSX TIM decoder, specifically the ReadTIMImage function in the TIM parser. In ImageMagick 7.1.2-9 and earlier, the parser reads 16-bit width and height fields from a TIM image header and computes the image size as 2 * width * height without validating arithmetic overflow. On platforms where size_t is 32-bit, large dimensions can wrap the computed size to a small value, causing a small heap allocation followed by an out-of-bounds read when subsequent operations use the declared dimensions.
