CVE-2025-6759 is a local privilege escalation vulnerability in Windows Virtual Delivery Agent for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and Citrix DaaS. The issue arises from a privileged process handle associated with the Citrix HDX graphics components being exposed to a low-privileged user process. Specifically, a SYSTEM process handle with PROCESS_ALL_ACCESS rights was observed leaking from GfxMgr.exe into CtxGfx.exe, which runs in the context of a low-privileged user. Because the handle is present in a user-owned process, an attacker can duplicate it without requiring special privileges and use it to create a new process running as NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. The flaw affects local security boundaries on the host and enables elevation from a standard user context to the highest local privilege level.
