CVE-2025-67735 is a CRLF injection vulnerability in Netty's io.netty.handler.codec.http.HttpRequestEncoder. Versions before 4.1.129.Final and 4.2.8.Final do not properly reject line-break characters in a request URI while constructing an outbound HTTP request. An attacker-controlled URI can therefore inject additional HTTP request syntax and enable HTTP request smuggling through applications or frameworks that pass unsanitized URIs to the encoder.
