ChurchCRM (open-source church management system) contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability affecting versions 6.4.0 and earlier. A low-privilege authenticated user who has the “Manage Groups” permission can inject arbitrary JavaScript into group role name fields. The malicious payload is persisted in the application database and is rendered without proper neutralization/encoding on pages that display the role name (e.g., GroupView.php and PersonView.php), causing the script to execute in the victim’s browser when those pages are viewed, including by administrators.
