The One to one user Chat by WPGuppy WordPress plugin is vulnerable to unauthorized access to private chat data due to a missing capability check on the REST API endpoint /wp-json/guppylite/v2/channel-authorize. In all versions up to and including 1.1.4, the endpoint can be accessed without appropriate authorization, allowing unauthenticated attackers to intercept and view private one-to-one chat messages between users.
