CVE-2025-70994 affects Yadea T5 electric bicycles/scooters manufactured in or after 2024. The keyless entry system uses the EV1527 fixed-code RF protocol and does not implement rolling codes or a cryptographic challenge-response mechanism. As a result, a nearby attacker who captures any legitimate key fob transmission can reuse or synthesize RF commands to impersonate the fob. Reported examples include capturing a legitimate lock transmission and then generating unlock or start commands, enabling unauthorized operation of the vehicle.
