CVE-2025-71330 is an infinite-loop denial-of-service vulnerability in the ICNS parser of the image-size npm package through version 2.0.2. A crafted ICNS buffer with valid ICNS magic bytes and an entry length of zero causes the parser to repeatedly evaluate its parsing loop without advancing its offset. The resulting non-terminating loop blocks the Node.js event loop.

A denial-of-service vulnerability in the ICNS parser of npm image-size through version 2.0.2. A crafted ICNS buffer with valid magic bytes and a zero-valued entry-length field causes the parser's offset not to advance, resulting in an infinite loop that permanently blocks the Node.js event loop.
A denial-of-service vulnerability in image-size through 2.0.2 where a malformed ICNS image buffer with a zero-valued entry length can trigger an infinite loop in the ICNS parser and permanently block the Node.js event loop.
