CVE-2025-7338 is a denial-of-service vulnerability in Multer, a Node.js middleware for handling multipart/form-data uploads. Multer versions 1.4.4-lts.1 through versions before 2.0.2 do not properly handle error events produced by the Busboy multipart parser. A malformed multipart upload request can cause an unhandled exception that terminates the Node.js process. The issue affects Multer upload handling, including applications using the single(), array(), or fields() middleware methods.
