CVE-2025-7340 is an arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the WordPress plugin HT Contact Form Widget For Elementor Page Builder & Gutenberg Blocks & Form Builder. The flaw affects all versions up to and including 2.2.1 and is caused by missing file type validation in the temp_file_upload() function. Because uploaded content is not properly restricted to safe file types, an unauthenticated attacker can submit arbitrary files to the server hosting the affected WordPress site. In environments where uploaded files can be stored in a web-accessible location and interpreted by the server, successful exploitation can lead to remote code execution.

This repository contains a Python exploit script (RCE.py) and a README.md documenting a file upload vulnerability (CVE-2025-7340) in the WordPress HT Contact Form Widget plugin. The exploit targets the plugin's AJAX file upload handler, which is accessible to unauthenticated users due to improper access control and insufficient file type validation. The script automates the process of extracting required parameters (nonce, AJAX URL, form ID) from a target post/page, generates a PHP webshell, and uploads it to the server. Upon successful upload, the script provides an interactive shell interface, allowing the attacker to execute arbitrary system commands via the webshell. The README provides detailed technical analysis of the vulnerability, exploitation steps, and usage examples for the script. The main attack vector is network-based, exploiting an exposed HTTP endpoint. The exploit is operational, providing a working payload and interactive shell, but is not part of a larger exploitation framework.
This repository contains a Python exploit script (CVE-2025-7340.py) targeting CVE-2025-7340, a critical unauthenticated arbitrary file upload vulnerability in the HT Contact Form Widget WordPress plugin (versions <= 2.2.1). The exploit automates the process of discovering the required parameters (nonce, form_id, AJAX endpoint) from a target page containing the vulnerable form, generates a PHP webshell, and uploads it via a crafted POST request to the plugin's AJAX handler. Upon successful exploitation, the shell is accessible in the 'wp-content/uploads/ht_form/temp/' directory, allowing remote code execution via HTTP GET requests with the 'cmd' parameter. The repository also includes a README with usage instructions, requirements.txt for dependencies, and a license file. The main entry point is the CVE-2025-7340.py script. The exploit is operational and provides a working webshell payload.
