CVE-2025-7639 is a deserialization of untrusted data vulnerability in AVEVA Enterprise SCADA and Enterprise SCADA HMI. An authenticated attacker with the "DNA Authority - Operator" privilege can tamper with serialized data that is later processed during deserialization, potentially causing unintended code execution. The resulting execution occurs under the privileges of the Enterprise SCADA security group "DNA Apps." The issue affects multiple AVEVA Enterprise SCADA releases from 2021 through 2025 and Enterprise SCADA HMI releases through 2024 R2.
