CVE-2025-8091 affects the EventON Lite plugin for WordPress in all versions less than or equal to 2.4.6. The vulnerability is an information exposure issue in the add_single_eventon and add_eventon shortcodes caused by insufficient restrictions on which posts can be included by those shortcode handlers. As a result, the plugin can disclose content from posts that are not intended to be publicly accessible, including password-protected, private, or draft posts. The issue can be triggered without authentication.
